Rajesh Sehgal founded Ekah Consulting a boutique firm based in Noida. Ekah partners with clients across Asia with a focus on India on Talent Acquisition, Leadership and Managerial Development and Organisation Development. Rajesh has worked with employees and customers across different parts of the Globe including India, Germany, France, Belgium, Austria, Singapore, Australia, Switzerland, Italy, United Kingdom and USA.
His industry experience spans across industries such as : Technology Products & Services, Manufacturing and HR consulting Services.
He has a good mix of Indian and International exposure. He has well-developed analytical and interpersonal skills, is an Effective cross-cultural communicator with an ability to listen and interpret candidate, employee and client needs.
Rajesh is a strategic and performance focussed executive and has a good blend of hands on experience of 25 years in operations, research, Line HR, Corporate HR and HR consulting which enables him to understand and connect with business, talent and leadership challenges and help find solutions.
He began his career at CERN Geneva, Switzerland in 1989 where he worked in the experiment where the Internet was born and spent close to 5 years. He had the opportunity of working closely with a number of Nobel Laureates and has several research publications to his name in the L3 experiment.
He is a certified Executive Coach by Marshall Goldsmith. He is a trained facilitator and has been one of the best performers in Talent Acquisition in a leading HR Search, Recruitment and Selection firm.
Rajesh was Senior VP HR at Cyient, an IT and engineering services company with 12000 employees of 22 nationalities across 38 global locations where he served for over 10 years. Prior to Cyient he worked as a Director HR India at the captive of TomTom at Noida. He also worked with Grapecity, a Japanese MNC. Earlier he worked with ABC Consultants at Delhi and Chandigarh and was in The Talent Recruitment and Selection practice. He also had a stint in manufacturing with the Trident Group where he had an exposure to plant life in textile, spinning, chemicals and paper industry.
He was the President of the NGO “To the Heart” for over 10 years. This NGO supported the education of over 100 underprivileged kids in Delhi and Noida.
Rajesh is a Masters in Physics from Department of Physics and was a university rank holder at Panjab University Chandigarh. He is a PGDBM from Narsee Monjee and is also an Executive Education Alumini of IIM-A, IIM-B and ISB, Hyderabad. He has been a Certified Examiner for Quality Management under RBNQA. He is trained and certified on Dr. Paul Hersey’s Situational leadership model and on psychometric instruments like Firo B and PPA of Thomas International.
